 If there is one thing affecting its centralized system its security. Even with all the regulation put in place the system is still prone to security bridge but thanks to innovation of blockchain technology. Security is one core purpose of the blockchain technology, a network built to withstand any form of hack. I regard blockchain network to be; The Ultimate Security Towel. Before we can entrust our data to any organization or agency we first watch out if this bodies are secured enough but with blockchain all doubts are clear being a decentralized system.
 
Today i will discussing with you guys a new ICO project called Memority. I will be making reference to the whitepaper and the official website which is my major source of my research about the project and personally I like the project.
 
What is Memority?

According to the whitepaper Memorizeis a decentralized cloud storage system for valuable data based on blockchain technology and the sole purpose of memority is to create a platform which is beneficial to both organizations (big and small) and individuals where valuable data can be maintained can be stored with efficient security.

The blockchain technology is known for it's high security level, it's resistant to compromised and is one of the most trusted systems when it comes to security. Uploaded files in the storage pool will be protected by a private key and will be the only means to access files. The platform will provide unprecedented files from deletion and forgery thanks to the adoption of the blockchain technology.

The Memority PlatformAs told from the whitepaper the platform operates with the involement of 4 entities

  •     Hoster
  •     Third-party developers
  •     Miner

Data Owner: encrypted and stored secured after the platform currency (MMR tokens)Hosters: MMR tokens MMR to serve as a portion of their disk space to serve as storage for data owners and later rewards for their service.Third-party developers: developers are getting the chance to earn some tokens as well by creating applications and implementing them using the infrastructure of MemorityMiners: these are the people who support the working capacity of their blockchain. users with 10,000 or more tokens are eligible to be miners.Know more about this entity amd how they operate the basis of EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine) and to improve the network's performance adopted the a new algorithm called Proof Of Authority (POA) consensus.

Conclusion

From the above, I made it clear about what the project is trying to accomplish which personally I am in love with. Leveraging the blockchain technology gives this platform an upper hand on security issue. The idea of a private key to access files makes it more fascinating and i think it worth investing.
